On July 17, Regenerate Whatcom hosted the first bioregional mapping workshop by any Regenerate Cascadia landscape group, bringing two dozen residents of the Nooksack watershed together at Rome Grange. On Friday August 28, the group gathers at Inspiration Farm to harvest what those maps surfaced.

At its July 25 meeting, Regenerate Vashon set a date for the island’s bioregional mapping workshop, heard a full debrief of Whatcom’s, and started mapping how a 501(c)(3) and the Vashon-Maury Community Council can do things together that neither can do alone.

Regenerate Vashon met on Saturday June 27 to debrief the Low Tide Festival, settle how the group communicates, and start planning a bioregional mapping workshop for the island.

On June 14, a minus-four-foot tide pulled roughly a thousand people onto the beach at Point Robinson. Regenerate Vashon had a table there, and came away with more than a signup sheet.
