The Learning Journey

A six-month cohort that begins each spring, where Cascadia finds itself.
Home/ Learn/ The Learning Journey

The Learning Journey is where many people first find their footing in this work. Each year we host a Cascadia Cohort within the Design School for Regenerating Earth's six-month Bioregional Learning Journey. Together we build a shared language, learn the fundamentals of bioregionalism and bioregional mapping, and form the relationships so much of this work depends on.

How it works

  • Opens each spring, around the equinox, and runs about six months.
  • Two parts, each anchored by an in-person immersion: the first introduces the moment we are in and our way of organizing; the second gives you the tools to join the community, meet others, and start a group.
  • Held in partnership with the Design School for Regenerating Earth, with a dedicated Cascadia cohort steward.

Who it is for

Anyone drawn to regeneration in Cascadia, whether you are just beginning or already organizing. Many of our Seed Group and Landscape Group founders started here.
