The Duwamish River Community Coalition (DRCC) provides resources, knowledge, and action to build more just environmental futures along the Duwamish River in Seattle. The coalition promotes place-keeping and prioritizes community capacity and resilience in one of the most polluted waterways in the Pacific Northwest, designated as a federal Superfund site. Programs include environmental law and climate policy advocacy, youth leadership development, clean air monitoring, health equity initiatives, and community stewardship. DRCC works to ensure that frontline communities along the river corridor have voice and agency in decisions about cleanup, restoration, and future development.
