Santa Rosa, CA · Outside of Cascadia
I’m Susan Fine (she/her), a systems thinker, writer, and proud Grams doing my part to help build a more connected, regenerative Cascadia. I thrive in the space where strategy meets community care—helping projects get clear, stay aligned, and keep moving without losing their soul in the process. I come from a background in nonprofit work, organizing, and creative storytelling, and I bring a deep commitment to bioregional values: reciprocity, resilience, and relationship with place. My personal life is grounded in seasonal living, mutual aid, and intergenerational care. I’m here because I believe that what we build now shapes the future our children—and their children—will inherit. I want that future to be rooted, thriving, and worth continuing.
About the Work
I help build the systems and structures that allow community-led, values-driven work to actually function. That means designing workflows, streamlining communication, tracking what needs doing (and by whom), and helping teams stay grounded in their mission while navigating the very real messiness of collaboration. At its heart, my work is about supporting people—making sure they have what they need to show up fully, feel connected, and do the work they came here to do without burning out. I operate at the intersection of logistics and care, always trying to balance clarity, flexibility, and respect for time, energy, and place.
