About This Resource

A promotional video for the 11th Turtle Island Bioregional Congress (TIBC 11), taking place September 15 to 19, 2026, at Camp Cedar Ridge in Vernonia, Oregon. The gathering will bring together roughly 300 place-based leaders, community builders, legal practitioners, economists, artists, educators, and organizers for the first continental bioregional congress since 2009. TIBC 11 aims to amplify bioregional organizing across North America for community resilience, Indigenous leadership, local governance, climate action, ecological regeneration, and the celebration of local cultures. The congress is a fiscally sponsored project of the Cascadia Department of Bioregion.
