Regenerate Cascadia is hosting an online gathering on Saturday, November 7, to reflect on our first pilot year of the cohort-style Landscape Hub Cultivator program, launch Seed and Topic Groups, and dream up 2027 together.

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pacific, Regenerate Cascadia hosts the 2027 Cascadia Kickoff Jam on Zoom. It’s a cozy, creative space for Cascadians to meet across landscapes, hear where the network stands, and bring your own passions to the table for the year ahead.

Following the energy from the Turtle Island Bioregional Congress
The Turtle Island Bioregional Congress was a remarkable gathering. Many Cascadians there came away curious about Regenerate Cascadia: who we are, what our landscape groups are doing, and how they might get involved. The Kickoff Jam is our answer to that curiosity. It’s an open door for anyone who wants to find their place in the work, whether you met us at the Congress or are hearing about us for the first time.

A full year to report on
This has been the first pilot cohort-style year of the Landscape Hub Cultivator, our program which supports landscape groups across the bioregion to evolve and work towards embedding in funding ecosystems. Stewards met weekly, built teams, and started mapping their home landscapes.

Seed and Topic Groups are opening
We’re also launching Seed and Topic Groups! These are lighter-light ways to organize with neighbors around a place, or with fellow Cascadians around a shared topic that spans geographies. You don’t need to be ready to start a formal Landscape Group to begin. The Kickoff Jam is where these groups will start to take shape.

What to expect
The first half of the Jam is icebreakers, context-setting, program updates and group warmups. After a warm break, the second half features breakout groups – passions and projects, topics and landscapes – with a closing harvest.

Register on Zoom here to get it in your calendar!

Help hold the breakouts
If you’d like to help facilitate or take notes in a breakout room, we welcome your help. Please reach out to Emily, our Community Steward, at steward@regeneratecascadia.org.

Come see what 2027 has in store, and help shape it. We hope to see you on the 7th.
