Welcoming Mount Olympus Bioregion to the Cascadia BioRegen Program
We’re honored to welcome Mount Olympus Bioregion as a new Landscape Group in the Cascadia BioRegen Program. Rooted in the lush forests, rivers, and coastline of the Olympic Peninsula, this circle spans Clallam and Jefferson Counties, where mountain, sea, and community meet. The group is cultivating regenerative systems that honor both ecological and human wellbeing, helping this diverse bioregion remember its interdependence.
Mount Olympus Bioregion is guided by Shalee Evans of Goodness Tea Company, Asha Bawden of BanyanTri, and Amanda Sanders, a longtime Clallam County organizer focused on youth and family resilience. Together they bring a mix of permaculture practice, sustainable business leadership, and community care. They are joined by Kathryn Fisher, a sustainability consultant who advises on eco-housing and strategic processes.
Their shared vision centers on regenerative agriculture, cooperative food systems, and education that uplifts mind, body, heart, and spirit. They are working to model sustainable eco-village living, create circular economies, and strengthen relationships across farms, land trusts, and local organizations. From permaculture events and seed planting to farm-based gatherings, the group is building practical pathways for regeneration rooted in the rhythms of land and season.
Mount Olympus Bioregion partners with local tribes, farmers, artists, and educators to protect watersheds, restore ecosystems, and build community resilience. Their work honors the lessons of the Elwha River restoration and seeks to expand those ripples of repair across the peninsula.
As part of the Regenerate Cascadia network, Mount Olympus Bioregion can now receive tax-deductible donations, apply for grants, and collaborate with other landscape groups to grow a thriving, regenerative culture for generations to come.
