The second r3.0 Bioregional Open Dialogue explores the intersection of bioregionalism and permaculture. Elyes Mkacher shares his experience teaching permaculture to bioregionalists in Tunisia through the Mediterranean Bioregional Hub's Design School. Gloire Mudekuza describes how the Plethora Social Initiative supports residents of the Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda in practicing permaculture. Julie Davenson of the Soil and Climate Initiative discusses the role of permaculture in developing bioregional bio-based economies.
