The Global Earth Repair Foundation is a nonprofit based in Port Hadlock on the Olympic Peninsula, committed to spreading the knowledge of ecosystem restoration to manage the climate and heal the planet. Founded by Michael Pilarski, a farmer, educator, and permaculture teacher since 1988, the foundation platforms grassroots changemakers in the global ecosystem restoration, permaculture, agroecology, and ethnoecology movements. The organization hosts the Global Earth Repair Convergence, a major gathering at Fort Worden in Port Townsend that brings together hundreds of scientists, Indigenous leaders, farmers, artists, and regeneration practitioners from around the world. The next convergence is scheduled for May 7 to 11, 2026.
