Organization Profile

<p>The Whidbey Community Foundation, founded in 2016, is the only island-wide community foundation on Whidbey Island. It connects donors who care with causes that matter, providing support for the nonprofit sector, assisting donors in building enduring charitable assets, and meeting community needs through financial awards. As of 2025, the foundation manages over $5 million in charitable assets across more than 35 funds, and has distributed over $5.3 million in grants to nonprofits since its founding. The foundation also provides nonprofit capacity-building workshops, training, and convening for Whidbey Island organizations.</p>
