A Guild is a formal program of Regenerate Cascadia organized around a regenerative topic rather than a place. It is the topic-based counterpart to a Landscape Group, and it carries the same nonprofit capacity and support: it can receive tax-deductible donations and grants, run payroll, carry insurance, and is held by three or more core stewards.
A Guild builds a shared, foundational understanding of its topic, sponsors and supports projects in service to landscapes, fundraises for the work, and serves as a home for everyone across Cascadia who cares about that topic. Its guiding question is simple: how does this topic help regenerate Cascadia?
Getting started
Guilds usually grow from a Topic Group. When your group is established and ready, apply with at least three core stewards, a signed Community Agreement, a draft first-year budget, and an adopted Group Charter.
