I am a remote emergency medical provider, a rookie wildland firefighter, a retired organic farmer and a health & fitness trainer . I am a grandma.
I have 5 mostly grown children. I am Canadian born, grewup near PointPelee, Ontario. I've been in the Skagit Valley for 18 years.
About the Work
I teach pain- free movement that builds stamina and endurance. I help hard workers reduce "vices" or bad habits and instead intergrate lifestyle medicine for better performance at work and in their communities. I incorporate experiential learning around growing food, identifying , harvesting and preparing herbs. I practice and teach Kalari and Capoeira , both traditional martial arts. KALARI from Southetn India is a also a healing art that is over 4000 yrs old. Capoeira , from Brazil is also a celebration of culture, singing, and dancing
