March 29th at 6-8pm – Skeeter Micheal Pilarski and Rick Lukens are hosting and invite us to their “Global Earth Repair Film Festival” at Fort Worden Chapel on Saturday this week. Any and all are welcome, it’s by donation only (funds Global Earth Repair). This month’s film is “We Are Guardians,” about the Amazon rainforest. Followed by discussion.

Follow Indigenous forest guardians Marçal Guajajara and Puyr Tembé as they protect their territories from deforestation. Through intimate storytelling, the film explores the science, politics, and economics behind deforestation and its global impact, providing a deeply personal look at the fight to preserve the Amazon.
