Join us for an afternoon of community conversation, dinner, and presentation from 4 – 8 pm. Discussions will focus on eco-governance, permaculture and intentional community networking. The potluck dinner will start at 6pm.
Featuring presentations and talks by Joe Brewer, Alpha Lo and others.
If you are planning on camping overnight, please complete this form and prepare to arrive between 2 – 4 pm. No pets please except service dogs.
The walk-about part is optional and weather-dependent, this is the plan. We meet at an exceptional 3-acre property in Horn Lane for a site tour. Next, we go to the NAACP-sponsored Annie Mim’s Gardens on Maxwell Road and finally to Jan Spencer’s renowned Suburban Permaculture homestead.
These are all great examples of Urban Permaculture in different stages of evolution, and we will be accompanied by Joe Brewer and his team in the Regenerate Cascadia Bioregional initiative.
