Mighty Networks tool
We’ve launched our online community of practice in Mighty Networks platform as a private co-working space for our project Landscape Stewards in the BioRegen sub-program of Regenerate Cascadia.
The RC team has been working hard behind the scenes to establish a thorough base for the Stewards’ activities. We appreciate the groups’ willingness to jump on board with new tech! Despite some initial kinks, things seem to be a bit more user friendly now, whose participation and feedback proved invaluable.
This platform is specifically a Regenerate Cascadia community of practice space
User Experience
- The BIOREGEN PROGRAM COLLECTION has been simplified to include our two major programmatic areas: Landscape Groups Program and Landscape Hub Cultivator. These Spaces now each contain the same layout and features:
- Updates & Discussion
- Calendar of Events (specific to each program)
- Program Description
- Recordings
- The Program Calendar for Nov-Dec 2025 has been added in the Mighty Networks group’s calendars.
We have made some decisions about how to structure the Landscape Group Spaces for the next few months.
While we all get used to a new rhythm of considerably more programming, i.e. events and activities, using the framework of a minimal viable process (MVP) will be kept as simple as possible for everyone The Mighty Network platform will remain internal to our core learning community of Land Stewards as of now. We will continue to use the RC website for interacting with general group membership and the public via updates, event invitations, etc.
- It is important and valuable for us as we commence regular programming to be able to visualize ourselves as one ecosystem / network, and for more established groups/early adopters to be empowered to enact leadership through role modeling to newer groups just forming. All Land Stewards currently on or joining our platform can now see every other Landscape Group’s Space.
- Early next year we will co-design together the next phase of the Mighty Network (MN) platform, which is opening certain Spaces up for Groups to bring their wider membership and general public into.
The Regenerate Cascadia website will remain the platform for all public-facing group engagement.
- Landscape Group’s public events will be posted on the RC Community calendar and post monthly updates to the RC website
The RC team’s passion and expertise has resulted in a specialized and useful but easy-to-use tool that fits with organizing activities and resource sharing for all Landscape Groups.
