All about permaculture and local, regenerative food systems and would like to participate more in creating local (urban) food systems that EVERYONE can participate in/have access to. Community heals ❤️ I’m also a Reiki practitioner and healer. The collective trauma and grief everyone is experiencing on this planet right now is something I also feel called to address and be of service to help heal.

Born in the West End of Vancouver in 1948, at home with cedar, squirrel, ocean air and pea soup fogs, walking everywhere with my grandmother, my bones are steeped in West Coast essence.

I’m working as a mediator and counseling-specialist, focused on conflict resolution in businesses, families and communities.
My book ‘Learning to Love’ is a practical guide to unconditional acceptance and loving, and is just one of the ‘tools’ that I’ve developed for understanding and modifying individual and collective human behavior.

Hello! I’m Shera Potka, a Computer Science PhD student hailing from the University of Victoria. My academic journey revolves around Data Analysis within Recommender Systems and Large Language Models. When I’m not diving into the world of research, I find solace in Web Design—a passion nurtured during my undergrad and grad years in Germany, where I delved into Media Computer Science. Crafting web identities is more than a hobby; it’s a testament to the significance of a digital presence.

I live in the Upper Columbia Kootenay bioregion and also spend time in Victoria. I have been involved in bioregionalism , sustainability, climate education, public engagement and community animation since the 1980’s.both in grassroots and academic spheres. I also have been an Integrative Body Psychotherapist practitioner and teacher for many years. My MSc is in Holistic Science focused on Deliberative Democracy and my PhD focused on Commons Governance and Economics. After working for many years trying to understand why we seemed so challenged in making the choices that would help us overcome the challenges which faced us I began to study adult cognitive development and methods of scaffolding collective evolution. I have been active with Earth Regenerators for almost 3 years.

Clare Attwell has long worked in community cultural development from the local to provincial level, and is also a textile and multi-media artist. She currently works with several local and global communities deeply engaged in every aspect of Earth Regeneration. These include the Design School For Regenerating Earth, Regenerate Cascadia, for which she is the co-founder, and Conversations for a One Planet Region Society, a local, Victoria based non-profit helping to catalyze a Bioregional conversation across the region.
