The Columbia River portion of the Cascadia Activation Tour is being hosted in partnership with Atlan Ecovillage, Global Ecovillage Alliance, and the Regen US Network. It is the first leg of the tour, lasting from October 1st to 4th. If you are coming from out of town, some camping may be available, but do make sure to contact the tour hosts.
The Columbia River is the largest river in the Cascadia bioregion. The headwaters form along the North central border of of British Columbia and flows northwest and then south into the U.S. state of Washington, then turns west to form most of the border between Washington and the state of Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean.
