I’m here mostly to listen, learn, and be adjacent to this community. My family moved here, from Louisiana, when I was a baby; I’ve grown up and made a home here ever since. Because of the slight cultural dissonance between the South and the PNW, and my affinity for this area, I’ve always been searching for more rootedness here.
I have a practical interest in affordable and climate friendly building methods, an intellectual interest in permaculture, and much concern for the overall welfare of the bioregion.
