I live on the traditional unceded territory Sinixt peoples, and home to many Ktunaxa, Syilx, and Métis persons; respecting their connections to the land and the importance of the environment to our strength as a community. I am member of the West Kootenay Climate Hub; been involved with climate activism through Citizen Climate Lobby for many years. Creating a better world for my 2 granddaughters continues to motivate me.
