Bioregional Learning And Education Open Space Feb 17th 2024

We are excited to invite you to an online Open Space gathering dedicated to exploring the topic of bioregional learning and education in Cascadia and helping launch a Bioregional Learning Guild on the Regenerate Cascadia platform.

This event is an opportunity for educators, students, thinkers, do-ers, and community members to come together and delve into the transformative power of bioregional education and learning. The event will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday, February 17th. We will be using an open-space format for gathering and organizing the sessions in Zoom breakout rooms.

Here is the Framing Question:

How can bioregional learning patterns help communities better understand and connect with their local ecosystems and cultural identities?

Volunteer Note Takers & Zoom Experts Needed!

We are looking for a number of notetakers to support in harvesting the rich conversations from the small group breakout sessions. The notes will be co-created in our Regenerate Cascadia Miro, a cool online whiteboard. If you are able, in preparation for the Open Space event, we will be hosting a live (and will be recorded) session early next week (date tba early in the week of the event on the 17th) to guide notetakers with using Miro and Zoom breakout rooms and posting Reportbacks. To support and serve in this way, please fill out our general Event Volunteer form.

A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF YOUR RELEVANT INTERESTS.
Breakout Zoom rooms may need facilitators, note takers and time keepers and maybe recorders (files uploaded from your local machine).
Note takers and collaborators, especially for small group breakouts during our open space/unconference style events, will use Miro (or GoogleDoc).
Our Regenerate Cascadia website has a Report Back form you can find under Start Here when logged (joining is free) under Organizing Tools. This creates Latest Updates on the home page and is very helpful! Or go here: https://regeneratecascadia.org/meeting-reportback/.
