DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to this event!\nWe are excited to invite you to an online Open Space gathering dedicated to exploring the topic of bioregional learning and education in Cascadia and helping launch a Bioregional Learning Guild on the Regenerate Cascadia platform. This event is an opportunity for educators\, students\, thinkers\, do-ers\, and community members to come together and delve into the transformative power of bioregional education and learning. \n  \nThe event will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday\, February 17th. We will be using an open-space format for gathering and organizing the sessions. Here is the Framing Question: \nHow can bioregional learning patterns help communities better understand and connect with their local ecosystems and cultural identities? \n  \nIf you’re unfamiliar with this type of gathering\, register for the event below\, and we will be sending out another communication with more details. You can also look it up on the interwebs in the meantime. We are limiting folks who want to host a session to those in the Cascadia Bioregion\, though anyone can participate. Those looking to host a session are encouraged to propose a project and continue a discussion on the website’s Regenerate Cascadia Learning and Education Guild page following the event. There will be guidance in this process. \n  \nJoin us in shaping a future where education and ecology meet\, creating a more connected and resilient Cascadia. Your insights and participation are vital in turning this vision into reality. \nThe zoom link will be emailed out after registering\, along with further instructions and ways to prepare. \nVolunteer Miro NoteTakers:\nWe will train and coordinate session notetakers (each breakout session will have a dedicated Miro Notetaker) in a recorded live session Wed 2/14/24 6pm in our Zoom (login to see Zoom).
